The first hydrogen station in Canada open to the public was opened in 2018 in Vancouver, British Columbia. • Calgary: ATCO has opened a station in the industrial district, supporting the use of hydrogen in the heavy transport sector.
• Edmonton: Suncor Energy has developed a station in the metropolitan area, close to the airport.
• Ottawa: A hydrogen station is planned for the Kanata technology district.
