Service Stations in Norway with
LNG stations in Norway in
The choice of transition to LNG as a fuel in Norwegian transport was motivated by both economic and ecological reasons. Above all, Norway is considered a leader in terms of the use of LNG as fuel, and the transition process is well advanced in this Nordic country. Furthermore, Norway is a country with abundant natural gas resources.
LNG provides substantial economic benefits and is considered a cost-effective fuel, as it is competitively priced in the long term compared to other fuels and generates lower operating and maintenance costs. For example, as of the end of 2019, the majority of LNG-fueled vessels around the world sail under the Norwegian flag.
The demand for liquefied natural gas in Norway is expected to increase in the near future. This, together with the fact that BioLNG is only distributed in Norwegian service stations, seems to indicate that the network of LNG refueling points will increase considerably in Next future
