Ireland has become a pioneer in the use of BioGLP, the first renewable gas available for transport on the island of Ireland. the island of Ireland. Already, several service stations in Ireland are offering BioGLP to motorists, although motorists are not noticing any difference.

There are currently 131 filling stations in Ireland offering LPG for sale to the public, a network that reaches every corner of the Emerald Isle.

They are one of the most successful families, although low profile, in the business of Ireland of the North. And a new book on the history of the bottled gas supplier Gas in Ireland highlights the role of the McMullan - now better known by the Maxol gasoline retailer - when taking the wonders of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to the homes of the north and southern.

Maxol uses 55 people and lends its name to 214 gas stations, of which 100 are own and franchisees. More than 70 years ago, they had 17 gas stations in full Ireland, but in 1937 they captured a new trend in terms of fuel and became the only Irish gas heat agents.
